Book Presentation: Written Pages and Blank Pages by Moreno Mojana

Friday, May 23, 2025 – 6:30 PM – at FLUART, Bologna

The Italian Bipolar Association is pleased to invite you to the presentation of the book Written Pages and Blank Pages – A Suspended Dialogue Between a Patient and His Analyst, written by Moreno Mojana, which will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 6:30 PM at FLUART – Urban Art Center, Via Monte Grappa 7/b, Bologna.

The event will be hosted by Marcella Nigro, writer and cultural promoter.

The book offers an intimate and thought-provoking exchange between a patient and his analyst—a dialogue that navigates between spoken and unspoken words, between written pages and those left blank, in a quest for meaning, understanding, and authenticity. It speaks to both the heart and the mind, providing deep insights for anyone who lives with or supports those facing psychological challenges.

This event is supported by the Italian Bipolar Association, of which Moreno Mojana will soon become a volunteer. His sensitivity and personal journey will be a valuable addition to our community.

We look forward to seeing many of you there for an evening of reflection, discussion, and shared culture.

Free admission.

Dynamic Alternations in Balance: Art as Testimony and a Tool for Mental Health Dialogue

On May 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the Teatro Comunale di Atri (TE) will host “Dynamic Alternations in Balance”, an evening dedicated to poetry, live music, art, and personal testimony. It will be a unique opportunity to reflect and engage in dialogue on mental health through various expressive languages.

The main focus of the evening will be Claudia Spielrein Guizzardi, a member and volunteer-in-training with the Italian Bipolar Association (AIBP), who will present her work “Sopra le righe – Poetic chronicles of a bipolar life”. This powerful and heartfelt collection of poems tells her personal story of living with bipolar disorder.

Experts from the Giulianova Mental Health Center will also participate, including psychiatrist Chiara Di Natale, psychotherapist Giuseppe Ferella, and psychoanalyst Demetra Di Febo. Representing AIBP will be Gabriela Stanciu, Secretary of the Board of Directors, and contributions will also come from the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired – Teramo Section, with representatives and member Vito Valleriani.

The evening will be enriched by theatrical interludes performed by the Roseto-based company “Il castello di Carte”, as well as live music by Maestro Daniele Falasca, the band “Libero e zuccherino”, and singer-songwriter Maïté di Loreto.

Nancy Fazzini will moderate the event. Admission is free.

A special thanks goes to Claudia for her courage and generosity in sharing her story to raise awareness, and to all the professionals and artists involved for their valuable contributions.
